We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tender and Contract Specialist to Gothenburg for our client in the life sciences sector. This is a key position responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and working closely with stakeholders to secure business opportunities while maintaining contractual obligations.
Tender Management:
Plan, prepare, and submit tenders to secure business opportunities.
Draft and finalize contracts ensuring all terms are clear and legally sound.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and tenders.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Track contract performance and manage amendments, renewals, and terminations.
Continuously improve tender management processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
Contract Management:
Manage the contracting process to ensure excellent quality of every quote submission.
Provide analysis and performance data related to contracts.
Maintain communication with customer procurement regarding contract lifecycle management, renewals, legal queries, and contract fulfilment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain e-catalogues and upload catalogues according to contract terms.
Ensure sales statistics are aligned with internal and customer requirements.
Pre-Tender Management:
Initiate the pre-tender process in Model N in line with the Global Contract and Tender Excellence (CATE) process.
Support the Sales organization in dialogue with customer purchasing departments regarding tender process-related questions.
Participate in customer meetings for large contracts and tenders.
Key Accountabilities:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Key User for designated systems and processes.
Train new and existing employees on the CATE process and Model N.
Participate in relevant communities to define best practices and build an internal network.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, legal, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in tender management, preferably within the life sciences industry.
Strong project management skills and experience in process development.
Ability to manage the tender process and ensure legal understanding of all stages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce.com, and Model N Tender Management.
Fluent in English and the relevant local language. Additional language skills are a plus.

This is a consultant role where you will be employed by us and assigned to the client.
