Description and tasks

We are now looking for an openstack troubleshooter/optimizer to take on a project on site for our costumer. The agile team that this person will be working with, have the responsibility to provide cloud environments for their R&D department. 

On a daily basis the consultant will work with continuously improvements and innovations and a lot more, such as:

• Being involved in building next-generation state of the art cloud environments, including container solutions.

• Develop, Operate and Support scalable, redundant environments for other developers

• Gain hands-on experience with HW (e.g. physical installations, HW and SW upgrades, etc.)

• Improve existing infrastructure by incorporating the newest technology, adapt to standardized methodology practices and cross-application integrations

• Have day-to-day collaboration with developers and QA teams, in order to influence design and architect solutions in the multitiered environments

• Building services on top of our IaaS offering, some products runs within containers

• Perform deep level openstack troubleshooting

Qualifications

We see that you who apply for this job have several years of experience with Linux administration and optimization as well as experience of Openstack, optimization and troubleshooting (on advanced level). We see that you have basic scripting skills in Python, Ansible or another comparable scripting language and cloud technology awareness.

You have deep knowledge within some openstack modules, you should be able to deploy a openstack deployment by yourself. Furthermore you also have good knowledge within networking were L1-L3 knowledge is required, as well as troubleshooting skills.
